State BJP President Rahul Sinha launched the “Sarkari Karmachari Parishad” at a convention in the city.

While addressing the convention, Sinha stressed on the need for developing work culture of the state employees.

“The work culture here has been destroyed and needs to be restored. We need to change our mentality towards work and responsibilities,” he said. “The handful of honest government workers are forced to resort to dishonesty because there is no independence in work,” State BJP President said.

Sinha also attacked the state government on the issue of Dearness Allowance (DA) arrears of the state government employees. “The state government might have promised to pay off seven per cent of the 49 per cent dues, but you must keep the pressure on. We can’t trust the state government. They might back out at the last moment saying the clubs need more money,” he said, adding that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee contradicted herself in her speeches within three months.
