Major reshuffle of IPS officers in Delhi

New Delhi: A major reshuffle was ordered of the IPS officers in Delhi among the ranks of additional commissioner of police and deputy commissioner of police.

South Delhi DCP Romil Baaniy was shifted to Police Training College in Jharoda Kalan as vice-principal.

According to an official order, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Romil Baaniya has been transferred as vice-principal, Police Training College in Jharoda Kalan.

Vijay Kumar, currently posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) will be replacing Baaniya as DCP (South), it said.

Monika Bhardwaj, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southwest), will be stepping in Kumar’s shoes as DCP(West).

Amarendra Kumar Singh, Additional Commissioner of Police (Security) will assume the charge of Additional CP (Traffic), the order said.

Dhiraj Kumar, Additional CP (Security) will assume the charge of Additional CP (Special Branch), it added.
