UP govt transfers 11 IAS officers

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh government today transferred 11 IAS officers, including Rama Raman and posted him as chairman of Noida.

Rama Raman, who was awaiting posting, has been posted as chairman of Noida with additional charge of  principal secretary Infrastructural and Industrial Development.

An official spokesman said Raman, who was awaiting posting, has also been made principal secretary Infrastructural and Industrial Development and will relieve Sanjay Agarwal, principal secretary power, who was holding these departments as an additional charge.

Principal secretary, Rural Engineering Service, Mahesh Gupta has been sent to Backward Welfare Department, he said adding Gupta will relieve principal secretary, Social Welfare, Manoj Singh, who was looking after these departments as an additional charge.

Principal secretary, Sports and Youth Welfare, Anita Bhatnagar Jain has been sent to Higher Education Department with additional charge of minor irrigation.

Principal secretary, Information, Navneet Sehgal has been given the additional charge of Sports and Youth Development, the spokesman said, adding special secretary, Infrastructure, Rishikesh Bhaskar Yashod has been made staff-officer to chief secretary.

Special secretary, Social Welfare, Ishwari Prasad Pandey has been made registrar Chit Funds and special secretary Entertainment Tax. Atal Kumar Rai has been posted as secretary to Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, the spokesman added.
