UP govt transfer 10 IPS officers

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh government today transferred 10 IPS officers including police chief of three districts and posted a new DIG in Lucknow.

DIG PAC Lucknow R K S Rathore will be the new DIG of Lucknow range, a Home department spokesman said.

The government transferred SP, Jalaun, N Kolanchi as SP, Railways, Agra while Bablu Kumar, who was attached to the DGP headquarters, will be the new SP of Jalaun in his place, the spokesman said.

Superintendent of Police, Hardoi, Anis Ahmed Ansari has been transferred to 34th battalion PAC Varanasi and Umesh Kumar Singh who was attached to the DGP office in Lucknow will be new SP of Hardoi.

SP, Hapur Yogesh Singh has been shifted to 47th battalion PAC Ghaziabad and Alankrata Singh who was with 47th battalion of PAC, Ghaziabad will be new SP of Hapur, the spokesman said adding that SP, CB-CID Lucknow Pankaj Kumar was transferred to PTS, Unnao in place of Harish Kumar who has been attached to the DGP office in Lucknow.

The government also posted former DIG Lucknow D K Chaudhary in PAC headquarters Lucknow. Chaudhary was removed from Lucknow after he was caught on camera slapping an old street vendor.
