Age limit for police recruitment increased in Maharashtra

Mumbai: Maharashtra government today raised the upper age limit for police job aspirants.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in a tweet said the age limit was being increased from 25 to 28 years for the open category and from 30 to 33 years for the reserved category.

Fadnavis also said in the police recruitment notification, which will be issued by the authorities, an age limit of 28 years is to be fixed for general category candidates 33 years for candidates belonging to the the reserved category.
