Maharashtra govt reshuffles 5 IAS, 3 IPS officers

Mumbai: In a minor reshuffle, the Maharashtra government on Saturday transferred five IAS officers and three IPS officers, including Sanjay Khandare, the Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of the state transport corporation.

Vice-Chairman and MD of the Maharashtra state transport corporation Sanjay Khandare has now been posted as Additional Metropolitan Commissioner, MMRDA, Mumbai.

Khandare has now been posted as Additional Metropolitan Commissioner, MMRDA, Mumbai, while Ranjit Singh Deol, who was Commissioner of Social Welfare, Pune has been sent to transport corporation to replace Khandare, an official release here said.

V M Patil, MD, Maharashtra State Fisheries Corporation, Mumbai has been posted as Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, Maharashtra Airport Development Company, Mumbai.

S M Lokhande, Chief Executive of Zilla Parishad Sangli has been posted as Municipal Commissioner, Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation.

Sham Lal Goyal has been posted as Principal Secretary and Chief Enquiry Officer, General Administration Department, Mantralaya.

In the police administration, the state government transferred 3 IPS officers, Sanjay Pandey, who was Controller, Legal Metrology, has been posted as Additional Director General (Home Guards).

Principal Secretary (Special) in Home Department, B K Upadhyay, has been posted as Additional Director General of Police and Inspector General (Prisons) in Pune. Rajnish Seth, Additional Director General, Anti corruption Bureau (ACB), replaces Upadhyay.
