According to a report in The Hindustan Times, CM’s former private secretary Premchandra Prasad’s daughter Anita, secured 85% marks in the entrance test despite answering just 31 out of a total of 200 questions.

Documents available with The Hindustan Times have shown that Anita answered a total of 61 questions, of which only 31 were answered correctly.

However, 130 more questions were answered in a different ink, apparently marked by Vyapam officials involved in the scam. Of these, 129 were correct.

According to the Vyapam inquiry report, if only the original 31 correct answers as answered by Anita were considered, she would have not cleared the PMT as the minimum cut-off marks for candidates from OBC category was 80 out of 200. Anita belongs to OBC.

Premchandra Prasad was private secretary to CM Shivraj Chouhan at the time and had access to a booming test-rigging racket in the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB). He and Anita were named as accused in the Vyapam scam.
