Delhi Police Commissioner B S Bassi, who has been battling Delhi government’s charges over the functioning of his force, on Saturday dared Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to a public debate.

“It can be a debate lasting a day or more to discuss and clear all doubts,” Bassi said.

“I can handle this issue by relying on my knowledge of the affairs of the Delhi Police and overall policing experience,” he added.

Accepting the challenge, the AAP said its senior leader Kumar Vishwas was ready to take on Bassi on behalf of Arvind Kejriwal in a public debate.

“The spokesperson of Prime Minster Narendra Modi, Bassi sahab challenged Arvind Kejriwal.

“On Arvind Kejriwal’s behalf, Kumar Vishwas is ready for debate. Bassiji should tell the time and venue,” AAP leader Sanjay Singh tweeted.
