The couple also alleged that the Minister had framed them in false cases of rape and other charges, with the assistance of UP State Women Commission Chairperson Jarina Usmani, member Ashok Pandey and some policemen.

Talking to reporters during their dharna, the couple said that conspiracy against them started after Dr Nutan made complaint against the Minister with the Lokayukta of several irregularities.

“They first got a threat to stay away from this case and were later implicated in two completely false complaints of rape by unknown women, presented before the Women Commission. Of these, the address of an Etah woman was found false, while that of Ghaziabad had different signatures in different documents,” they claimed.

They said the call details established that the Ghaziabad woman and some policemen from Gomtinagar were in constant touch with Ashok Pande.

They said another false case was filed against them at the behest of Minister Prajapati by one Dharmendra Kumar for allegedly beating him.

As per Amitabh and Nutan, an application for FIR was given to Station Officer Gomtinagar on June 10, to DIG Lucknow on June 11 and to DGP A K Jain on June 15, but it was not registered, forcing them to sit on dharna before DGP office.
