Minor bureaucratic reshuffle in Delhi government

New Delhi: Delhi government Monday effected a bureaucratic reshuffle of nine senior officials.

Thus, IAS officer Amar Nath, who is holding charge as the DUSIB CEO, was given additional charge as Health Secretary to Delhi government.

He relieves senior IAS officer Arun Baroka from the post.

Another IAS officer, F O Hashmi, was appointed as Special Secretary (Health) by the AAP government.

The seven DANICS (Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Services) officers are from important departments like New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC), Delhi Jal Board and Delhi Development Authority. They was shifted to other departments.

Geetika Sharma, a Director-level officer at NDMC, was transferred to East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) as a Deputy Commissioner.

Similarly, B S Jaglan, Director (Vigilance) in the Delhi Jal Board, was shifted as Deputy Commissioner (West), while Ajay Kumar Bisht from DDA was given the charge of Additional Secretary (power).

K D Dogra was made the new Additional Director (education).
