RPI wants ministerial berth for Athawale in Modi govt

Mumbai: The RPI today said its chief Ramdas Athawale should be made a minister in the government headed by Narendra Modi at the Centre.

A resolution to this effect was adopted at a state-level convention of the party here.

“RPI should get share in power at both the Centre and state,” the resolution said.

RPI was in alliance with BJP during the Assembly elections in Maharashtra as well as the Lok Sabha elections last year.
