11 IPS officers reshuffled in Haryana

Chandigarh: In an administrative reshuffle in Haryana, the government today transferred 12 police officers, including 11 of IPS cadre, with immediate effect.

Saurabh Singh, formerly the Joint Police Commissioner of Gurgaon has been posted as Hisar SSP.

The transferred officers included those of the ranks of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Commissioner of Police (CP) and Superintendent of Police (SP), an official spokesman said.

A K Dhul, formerly the Director General of modernisation, has now been posted has replaced P K Agrawal as the director general of Human Rights Commission. The latter will take charge as ADGP, Panchkula headquarters.

Sandeep Khirwar, who has returned from central deputation, will take over as the new IG security relieving Navdeep Singh Virk of the charge.

Maheshwar Daya, DIG state vigilance Bureau has been posted as DIG of law and order, while Saurabh Singh, formerly the Joint Police Commissioner of Gurgaon has been posted as the Hisar SSP, while joint Faridabad police Commissioner Bharti Arora will take charge as the new commissioner of Gurgaon.

Police Training Centre Sunaria SP Rakesh Arya will replace Ashwin as the new SP of Bhiwani while the latter has been transferred as SP of Sirsa. CID SP Vinod Kumar will now take charge as Panchkula’s law and order superintendent.

One Haryana Police Service officer is among those transferred, the spokesman said.
