The government would also write to the Centre “not to extend” the deputation of the officers whose tenures are completing, Singh said.

Several officers had applied for central deputation and their cases would not be forwarded to the Centre for posting.

Chief minister said that henceforth all the recruitments to various government departments, Boards and Corporations including the appointments of conductors and helpers would made through State Subordinate Services Selection Board (SSSSB), a Public Service Commission (HPSC), to instill confidence among people.

Referring to the formation of NITI to replace Planning Commission, Singh said that the format of the new body and the procedure to be followed by it for devolution of funds by it is still unclear.

He said that the Planning Commission had adopted a set pattern for devolution of funds and had made provision for special dispensation for small and hilly states and hoped that the NITI would meet the developmental aspirations of hilly states like Himachal Pradesh.
