UP govt transfers 16 IPS officers

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh government on Friday transferred 16 officials of the Indian Police Services (IPS) in the state with appointing new police chiefs of Agra, Kanpur, Shahjahanpur and Mirzapur districts.

SSP Agra Shalabh Mathur has been shifted to Kanpur in the same capacity.

The state government has also shifted seven deputy superintendent of police(DSP) rank officers in the state too.

According to official sources, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Agra Shalabh Mathur has been made the new SSP of Kanpur replacing K S Emanuel, who has been made commandant, PAC, Sitapur.

Commandant, PAC, Varanasi Modak Rajesh Dinesh Rao has been made the new SSP of Agra.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Mirzapur Rajendra Prasad Singh Yadav has been made SP of Shahjahanpur replacing Rakesh Chandra Sahu, who has been made SP training and security at the Security headquarters in Lucknow.

Dinesh Kumar P, who is attached with the DGP office will be the new SP of Mirzapur.

DIG PTS Moradabad Asit Kumar Panda and DIG Food Cell Navneet Kumar Rana will swap their posts while SP railways, Gorakhpur Rajendra Prasad Chaturvedi has been made SP in the DGP office.

SP UP Police recruitment Board Wajiha Ahmed has been made SP in the Foodcell while SP, PTC Sitapur Satya Bhushan Pathak will be SP, CB-CID Lucknow.

SP Vigilence, Lucknow Pawan Kumar has been shifted to the law and order department at the headquarters. SP ATS, Lucknow, Akhilesh Kumar Chaurasia has been shifted in the Intelligence department, lucknow while SP Food Cell Anis Ahmed Ansari has been posted at SP UP Police Recruitment Board.

Umesh Kumar Srivastava, who was attached with the DGP office has been made Commandant 32 Battallion PAC, Lucknow while Commandant PAC, Sitapur Mohit Gupta will be the new SP traffic of Lucknow.
