The official confirmation to the news is likely to be announced by BJP Chief Amit shah on Friday.

To form government in Jammu and Kashmir BJP will need a support to claim the majority. As per sources National Conference(NC) will be lending their support to help them form government.

According to sources, as part of the government formation deal between both the parties, Omar Ambdullah’s National Conference may get the post of Deputy Chief Minister.

In addition to this, National Conference may also be given a Rajya Sabha seat and a Cabinet berth in the Modi government in Delhi.

The BJP has won 25 seats against 28 won by the PDP and 15 by the NC and is 19 short of the half-way mark to form a coalition government in the 87-member J &K Assembly.

Though none of the leaders from both the outfits is confirming it, there are enough information coming out from the sources strengthening the reports about such an exercise leading to the government formation in J-K. “The BJP has never been untouchable for the NC, as both have shared power together in the past during the NDA regime at the Centre,” says a leader from BJP.

The National Conference is continue making a hard bargain with the BJP for coalition.
